Description
Commission D promotes research and reviews new development in electronic devices and applications, photonic devices and applications, physics, materials, CAD, technology and reliability of electronic and photonic devices, with particular reference to radio science and telecommunications.
The Commission deals with electronics and photonic devices, circuits, components, and systems at all frequencies covering topics in:
- Communications
- Radar
- Satcom
- Instrumentation
- Sensors
- Amplifiers
- Signal generators and detectors
- Control components (switches, phase shifters)
- Tunable components
- Cryogenics devices (radio astronomy, quantum)
- Active antennas and phased arrays
- Novel electronic and photonic materials
